Marbling is a timeless art form that involves floating paints on water and manipulating them to create one-of-a-kind prints. In this fun & interactive workshop, we will explore a variety of marbling techniques to create original designs & color combinations. Participants will leave with a range of original marbled papers that are art pieces in their own right, or can be incorporated into future works.

In this course we will cover:

• A brief history of marbling

• Basic color theory

• Demonstration & exploration of marbling techniques

Ages 8+ (This is designed for creatives of all ages)

No experience necessary, all materials provided

Art is messy, please dress accordingly!

About the instructor: Lea Freni is a designer and textile artist with 7+ years experience in the fashion industry. Freni is passionate about art education and exploring surface design techniques with artists of all ages and skill levels.
