PRINTMAKING I is a 6-week printmaking introduction, which walks you through three core printmaking methods: collagraph, single-layer relief, and drypoint intaglio. Over the course of 6 weeks, you will learn how to create a variety of images, composition basics, and how to use printmaking equipment, including etching presses, relief cutting tools, oil and soy-based inks, and more. Ages 15+. Previous printmaking experience is not required. If you wish to take this class multiple times, more advanced techniques can be introduced.

Anyone enrolled in Printmaking courses is welcome to use our Open Work Hours, complimentary, to complete any projects started during class. Open Studio Hours are currently offered on Fridays from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Your instructor will provide the student code once your course begins. This opportunity is only available for the duration of the course.
